Sometimes it is on International Women's Day that we become more discouraged by the status quo when we hear the stories of other women and reflect on our own difficult paths.
At times like this it is easy to forget what we have going for us, even in the imbalance of power that we continue to experience and live through.
My belief is that it is important to remind ourselves of this, because it is hope that will keep us going in the long term.
After all, even in a small way, we are creating the history that someone will write about tomorrow.
