Managing your energy at work



“When I get home, I don’t want to talk at all” – from a recent conversation with a café owner, who shared that she had nothing left to give after a day at work.


This is not uncommon. Especially if you work in a customer-facing role, you are constantly giving your attention and energy to other people.


If feeling drained and emotionally exhausted at the end of your day is your experience, then I urge you to be really aware of your energy through the working day. And also how you manage it.


This is not easy to do on your own. But as your coach, I can support you in identifying how you handle your energy on a daily basis. And help you manage your reactions and responses to situations in a way that is more healthy for you.


Remember that you deserve to have the rest, the family time, the social life and the hobbies that you want to enjoy!


And having the energy allows you to be present enough to enjoy all those things!
