​Welcome to Director's Cut, a thinking partnership I created for powerful women changemakers working in majority male industries who want to step into or excel in their senior leadership roles ON THEIR TERMS.

In a world where their power, presence and influence are needed more than ever, these high-performing women who might have time and time again proven their brilliance, their worth and just how much they change they could bring about to status quo, often find themselves frustrated in their efforts to create the impact they desire within their profession.

This is an invitation to a year-long partnership to co-create with me your own experience of leadership: one that transcends that reality.

Meet your thinking partner: Ishwariya

Your thinking partner Ishwariya Rajamohan FRSA is an accredited coach and speaker with a track record of empowering women leaders and aspiring women leaders working in majority male industries with building the confidence to take their careers and businesses to the next level.

​Since she set up her coaching practice in 2021, Ishwariya has supported nearly 200 women in all stages of their careers on overcoming imposter syndrome and other limitations that arise when their confidence has taken a hit.​ Her worldview as an architect makes her perfectly poised to help you achieve those ambitious project-driven goals (earning a promotion, winning a bid, launching an initiative), while her critical eye as a pastry chef can help you refine and optimise the results of your process-driven goals (refining a leadership skill, building a competency, streamlining yours or your team's ways of working). She rounds this off with her gifts as a coach, helping your rise into the person you need to become to accomplish those goals.

 

For over a decade Ishwariya has been passionate about creating social change - in 2015 she founded Love Letters to Chefs, an educational platform advocating for improvements to the work culture in the Hospitality industry and the chef profession. She is equally excited to support not just your work but also your mission to make a difference to society.

 

Ishwariya is accredited with the Association for Coaching and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. She greatly enjoys art cinema, hence the name. Ishwariya also personally believes that the easiest way to create your vision is through serving the highest good of all.

You did not expect to encounter the same biases and obstacles, the closed doors, the opportunity gaps, the opaque career progression pathways, the absence of allies at this level, and you expected much less that these situations would still have the power to knock your confidence and your self-concept.

 

You want nothing more than to transcend the small dramas, so that you can fight a bigger fight by creating impact.

 

You now want to direct your energy to your ambition of giving back: whether that looks like bringing positive change to the culture in your organisation or improving equity and access to opportunities in your profession or industry.

 

Which is why I created Director's Cut to support you in amplifying your impact and leadership as you had envisioned. I see it as a partnership because as an impact-driven leader myself, I am deeply invested in the positive change you want to create.​​​​

Director's Cut will change how you lead: Transform

Adapted from Steve Siebold's 5 Levels of Mental Toughness

When I came across this model by speaker and author Steve Siebold, I immediately saw a pattern that reflected the experiences of gender inequity that my coachees brought to the table again and again.

​

These high-achieving women found they were usually safest when playing at Level 3​. When they strayed or were perceived to be stepping into Level 4, that's when they got cut down to size. Not just by the systemic and structural mechanisms that safeguard the status quo (the gender pay gap, the glass ceiling, informal networks and relationships that tend to exclude women, etc.), but also by the daily exposure to bias, microaggressions and sometimes hostility that undermined their confidence in spite of excelling in their roles and having decades of knowledge and experience to draw upon.

 

Not being acknowledged or respected keeps these women on the treadmill of Level 3, eternally having to prove themselves, their capabilities and their worth in the workplace.

​

To play at Level 5, on the other hand, is where you are "driven by spirit instead of ego". This is your final destination on Director's Cut. But it requires you to Transcend the politics of Level 4, and Transform lesser ways of being and doing that exist in your comfort zone that is Level 3. That's the work we do together in this programme.

 

This paves the way for you to direct your time, energy and efforts to creating the impact you want to make.

 

But that requires a Level  5 game: because playing from spirit also means playing win-win, which means constantly realigning with your Genius, or your highest self, and the highest good of all. This is where I bring my intuitive coaching to help you stay on that path, in tune with your own spiritual or intuitive direction which otherwise gets bypassed in high pressure work environments.

In Director's Cut we define what your personal Level 5 could look like, identify what are some of the things that are currently missing or that you are afraid to demand in your day-to-day experience of leadership, and then we set out to start creating the impact and legacy that you want to ultimately leave behind.​

  • Unlimited 20-minute sessions every month to brainstorm decisions, sense check ideas or renew your courage in the face of challenges

  • 2 x completion months in July and December, loosely structued to help you to pause, process and re-energise you for the next part of your transformation

  • A 90-minute Genius Reading at the start of the programme where I intuitively map out your unique gifts, qualities and essence as a woman leader, including those qualities that you are yet to discover or those have previously had to disown. We also unlock patterns, thought forms and behaviours that are currently limiting you and keeping you in the Level 3 thinking.
