Why you should watch out for a leadership vacuum

Why should you watch out for creating a leadership vacuum unintentionally in your leadership?

In this video I share my own experience of how disruptive and unsettling it felt to be experiencing this dynamic as a team member.

I believe that this is a crucial thing for leaders to prevent, especially in a woman-led team where our relationships with each other tend to be much closer, and less hierarchical.

We also look at:

  • what a leadership vacuum is: both in an organisational and a personal context

  • how this impacts yourself or your team on a personal level

  • three steps that you can take to prevent this pattern and the chaos it brings

One of the key tools that you need to prevent such a vacuum is a decision-making protocol that is unique and personal to you and how you work.

Do you already have one, or recognise that you need to develop one as soon as possible to support you in becoming a more effective leader?

If you need help with this, I would love to have a conversation with you about how I can support you in developing your own, individual decision-making protocol.
