What is your stopping point?
Don’t let someone else’s stopping point become your stopping point - this piece of wisdom from a coach I studied with was the best thing I heard today. How often have you put your dreams on hold - promotions, pay rises, opportunities, funding, etc. - because of limitations that someone else forces you to abide by? Anyone ready for an uplevel in 2026?
You know from my previous email that I launched my Aspire & Ascend programme this week for women who want to finally achieve a big career milestone in 2026. Whether that is a long-awaited role in senior leadership, heading a bigger team or a higher-value project, projecting a more powerful leadership style, or anything in between. (If you haven’t yet read it, I suggest that you read that post first and then continue here). Let’s look at that first category: the things that help you expand. Under this category I would list,

Why I insist on investing in yourself
The Leadership Lab recently kicked off with a quick look at the three important categories of investments that make our confidence unshakeable as women. I learned too late the cost of not paying attention to all three, and I want the young women participating in the programme to start early on building solid foundations that they can rely on when things don’t go as planned. We get so pressured by society to invest in the things that ultimately only serve to keep up appearance
